Kenny Kirkland artist feature & more
Tonight we’re going to do a little artist feature on the late Kenny Kirkland. If you are wondering who he is, he was mainly a sideman with one of the more memorables stint with Sting featuring a very young Branford Marsalis.
So if you want to find out more about Kenny Kirkland, tune in tonight.
Also, we have free passes to give away to TGV’s beach blast! Listen for the cue to sms (if you’re impatient, there’s plenty of jazz to enjoy along the way while waiting for it).
What’s that? More giveaways? Yippee! Sounds like Christmas is around the corner. We have one Vic Firth t-shirt & one Atilia cd to give away in today’s show. How to get it? Just crank up your radio and be within the audible perimeter.
