Hey guys, what do you think of this logo for Jazz Selecta? Comments will be greatly appreciated!

In other news, yes, it’s been a while since this blog has been updated. For one I was out sick last week on Jazz Selecta…but not to worry, will be back in full swing tonight!

I’d like to share this comment that was left in the last post (in case you missed it)

Tahniah! Congratulations! It is very exciting for me to be able to tell you that I have hear your program “Jazz Selecta” on short wave radio. What a great program of jazz music! I heard the following:

    Somehow i came across your programme tonight and it’s just so nice to hear some nice jazz tunes on the radio! *uh.. don’t blame me for not tuning in any earlier cos i’m still new to this place*

    Anyways, Keep up the good work!

    Can we have a lil more of chet baker, ella fitzgerald, billie holliday, stan getz, george benson & norman brown.. to name a few? *blush*

    Hi guys,

    Beautiful logo you got there. But if I were to submit a logo of my own would you still accept it? Just for the heck of it, heh.

    Anyway, do you have plans to make a Shoutcast-based radio? It’s a pretty popular streaming protocol.

    P/S: I second cherries’ comments! It’d be great to hear the likes of Norman Brown, George Benson, Jeff Golub, Wayman Tisdale, and Acoustic Alchemy. (All the previous names were smooth jazz artistes.) BTW, please try checking out Hiromi Uehara; she’s a (quite) new pianist in a jazz trio, playing fusion. I heard she’s going to be the next big thing.
