Tuesday nights, 9 - midnight
It’s that time again for Jazz Selecta. The only free to air jazz show in Malaysia. In close to 3 hours, Anita Sarawak will be on the show and I’m still waiting for YOUR questions. E-mail me at maya@traxxfm.net if you have burning questions that need to cool out… ON AIR.
Also tonight, thanks to Eugene from Alldatjazz, we’ll be featuring a couple cool ‘Shanghai Jazz’ tracks - this is co-relation to the Chinese New Year celebration. GONG XI FA CHAI! And……

Hey ya everybody!
I’ve added another cateogory to the blog - it’s the “playlist” category cause every now and then we do write down the list of songs we’ve played on our show. I just added our Tuesday Jan 24th playlist up in case you’re interested. I’ve also created the “Jazz Bits” category (I have yet to add to) - and under that section I’ll have interested jazz trivia that was shared on-air. A listener of ours wrote in asking us about that article we shared on what jazz artists you should listen to depending on what musical background you’re from. So I’m going to dig up some of our old preps. Look out for that. And finally, I renamed the “Fan Mail” category simply to “Mailbag” … I didn’t want our egos to get too big..ha ha yeah right. I’ve put 3 of our most recent received e-mails in that category. Check it out and see if yours is there!
Don’t know if you caught our ramblings on air about a certain “Sheila”… well a little bird called us up during the show and he said he knows this certain “Sheila’s” manager and this certain “Sheila” has an album coming out in March …and according to “Sheila’s” manager, she’s interested in coming on our show…. Hmmm..the plot thickens. I guess you’re going to have to keep your ears glued to your radio sets every Tuesday night and your eyes on our blog for the latest details!

Hello Yen Nie, Thanks for your kind words and you never know what will happen with Sheila Majid. A little bird told me she may be coming into our studios sooner than you think! Stay tuned to find out!
